The patient is exposed to a nominal radiation dose which does not cause any noticeable health impact on the patient. For the safety of the family we ask attendants and other family members to vacate the room when x-ray is being done
A The time depends on the location of the patient, all request during the working hours (9am – 6pm) are done the same day
To avoid confusion, it is better to have a doctor prescription
The time may vary depending upon the condition of the patient, usually all is done within 30mins which includes machine set-up time and patient preparedness. The exposure is only for few seconds.
Yes, there are no restriction on eating and drinking.
A qualified radiologist will interpret the X-ray and prepare the report
The reports are shared on email the same day for X-ray’s done till 3pm and next day for X-rays done post 3pm
Hardcopy report is provided on request and it is separately charged
